Life is Good.....sooooo good!

It has been a year since I started exercising one month post-op after surgery.

I went from not being able to move without pain to just coming back from NYC, where i walked all over and never missed a beat. My husband begged me to slow down!

Exercise has given me back my life. Yeah, VSG, was the catalyst. But the amount of confidence I have from working out everyday and challenging myself has been priceless.

I have a spring in my step that I forgot existed in my lifetime. Yeah, I know I still have about 60 lbs to lose, but it isn't even a concern. Hitting that goal weight is still important, but the journey is more important to me now. I live to work out. Me!?! That is an exciting prospect for me. I look forward to biking this summer. Walking all over. Weight lifting until I feel like my arms and legs are like rubber bands.  Swimming anywhere and everywhere.

Last week, I went to the zoo with my 2 grandchildren and even they had a hard time keeping up with me.

Thank God for WLS, but thank God for all of you who have been my mentors, cheerleaders and friends.

Blessings and Hugs,

Sharon

Aw, I'm so happy for you, Sharon. You are right---life is so good. It is so much more enjoyable when we can move easily instead of gasping for breath or limping from pain.
I am glad you had such a lovely time. (((hugs, my friend)))
