Monday Morning Weigh In
Kat, the scale was down since the last time you weighed, that's definitely a good thing! You can get those 10 pounds off with no problem, I am sure!
My week's stats:
LW: 279.6
TW: 271.4
8.2 pounds lost!!!
My body went crazy with losing weight this week! This morning was the first morning since last Saturday that I didn't lose weight. I stayed the same. I had been letting myself have a few more carbs the past few weeks so I guess when I tightened up, my body really responded! I am very excited because this weekend I am going back to my hometown and working from my old office. No one there has seen me since I was 362 and now I am 90 pounds lighter!! I can't wait to go back and see everyone... which is quite a change because I normally hate seeing people I haven't seen in a while. Usually I have gained weight since the last time they saw me and I'm embarrassed. Not this time! YAY
KittyKarin :-) Starting weight: 362 / Surgery weight: 353 / Current weight: 190 (03/27/2017)

Shocked I maintained because it was a tough week (I'm usually a stress eater). A student of mine was killed. We are all devastated. The funeral was Saturday. So tragic. Life is precious.

Oh my goodness, Laura, I am so sorry to hear that. It is so tragic when things like that happen, especially to young people you know. I'm so sorry for the loss. But you are so strong and determined that I am not surprised at all that you maintained. You are a rock!
I hope you have a great week and that you and your students get the support you need.

Just not a good day in general. Sometimes I actually believe that bull**** of "If I weighed X, I'd be so happy". Then X comes and I'm happy for a second before I want to see a lower number.
