Halfway there!!
I have had a few down days but for the most part, I am happy and positive about all this. That 3 pounds this morning may be mostly hair though... Lol. It has been falling out at a good clip. My husband has used Drano a few times in our tub. But hopefully that will stop soon!
I know I still have a long way to go and this last half will probably be much harder and take longer than the first... I am just going to try and keep focused and keep plugging along. Thank u all for your support!!

Down days will creep in and out, but just remember what you have done and accomplished and how great you feel and look!!!
How exciting to be smaller than when you met your husband! What does he think! I bet he is loving what he is seeing!! Your hair loss will stop and it should begin to thicken and be healthy again. Mine is finally feeling somewhat better, although surgery itself does things to the hair. I have had 5 surgerys in the last 2 1/2 years and so it is a process with the hair.
hugs and keep on Rock'en your joureny!
Thank you! I am feeling good and excited about the progress I'm making. In high school, I lost 90 pounds and that's the most I've ever lost at one time. It's really exciting to be approaching that mark again. The past few years, I had resigned myself to being fat the rest of my life. I just couldn't lose more than 30 lbs at a time without stopping and gaining it all back. I had pretty much given up and so it's nice to have faith in myself again.
My husband is very happy for me... he is so sweet because he says he loves me at any size but I just can't imagine how he thought I was attractive at my highest weight. I looked so uncomfortable! But he is also seeing how much happier and active I am and he likes that a lot too. I can't wait for my hair to stop falling out but I was prepared for it, at least. I knew it was coming!
Thanks so much for your encouragement! You are one of the first vets that I saw on this forum and you inspired me SO much. I felt like I was so much bigger than everyone else on the VSG board so it was nice to find a place with people who were heavier that have had amazing success at WLS. Thanks again!
As far as hair in the drain goes, it will level off. DH is a plumber and he uses a small claw type tool with a flexible metal cord. It's gross but it does work to pull out clumps of hair. Sometimes Drano doesn,t dissolve hair, he says.

Thank you, Kate! The hair thing is a little freaky, especially when I am washing or brushing my hair and huge clumps are coming out. I have a lot of hair and its very thick (for now, lol) so I am hoping that it won't be really noticeable. I need a hair cut badly but I am scared to go to the hair dresser right now. I don't want anyone touching my hair except for me! LOL
We have a snake, claw thing, i think. :-) Not sure what hubby uses besides the Drano but its definitely helping.
Thanks, Lisa! Yes, I only lost 9 pounds before surgery so my surgery weight was 353. So really about 77 pounds in a little over 4 months. Not too shabby! :-)
