welcome! This is the best board on OH, if you ask me! No surgery wars, just lots of people who get it - its way different starting at a BMI of over 50 - we have different challenges & obstacles to face than, as was said above, people whose starting weight is close to your goal weight!

no need for surgery wars the surgery is only a tool , some tools work better for some people than others  , its  the brain we all need to fix and talking with people going thru the same thing helps talking with someone with a bmi of 35 is like talking to someone that wears a size 0 they just don't get it

I have dropped the50lbs that then need to drop in 2 months but it always come back now with my sleeve it will not be able to find its way back

it will go to one of those skinny ***** models they have in the lane Bryant catalog

like they know whats its like to not be able to find pants that fit over your legs or belly , eat a salad and gain weight

well by xmas I want to be in a size 12 like I wore when I meet my hubby 35 years ago

with all your help I know I can do it and I will help all of you meet your goals

Lightweights never had trouble reaching in the shower, they don't have the constants stares and double takes in public, they don't get all sweaty just food shopping, fitting in seats or booths etc. I'm sure they have their own issues and turmoils, and I'll be so grateful when I get down so far to only have those ones.

Im not looking to be a bikini model, I'm just looking to get back some of the years I shaved off my life expectancy by being 200+ lbs overweight.

Hi Lisa,

A year ago I was wearing a 5X. I now wear a size 18. You can do this!

I have not hit onderland yet, but i cried the day the scale said 299.

This is an amazing forum.

Good luck on your journey.

Hugs,

Sharon
