So glad to have been directed here. Hello !
I had VSG on March 5th and am doing well so far, knock on wood. I've been posting on the VSG board and also joined a FEbruary and March Facebook WLS groups and have been seeing countless postings by them celebrating reaching Onederland and wearing size Medium clothes already, after just 2 to 3 months postop, and it was leaving me feeling like an outcast. I'm happy that my 5X's are now baggy.
Anyhow, it wasnt just one post or just one week of posts that has left me feeling like I needed to find a group of people I could relate with. This forum was right here all the time, and I had no idea. I'm so grateful for 2 people from the VSG forum telling me about it. So hello, that's my introduction.
Welcome!!
It does seem daunting when you need to lose so much. 5 years ago I was getting ready for my RNY surgery. I never thought I could lose 200 pounds and more importantly keep it off, but I have done it. You can, too!!

Welcome! This forum is wonderful! So glad you found it. It's not as active as the VSG board but you will always get supportive comments and helpful advice from this group. It's my favorite forum and the people on here are amazing.
Thanks for introducing yourself and getting the word out there. I look forward to getting to know everyone! Have a great weekend!
