Weekend's almost here! Any plans?
I liked reading about everyone's weekend plans last week so I decided to post it again. What is everyone doing this weekend? Any big plans? Anyone worried about being tempted or going off plan?
I have a girls night tonight. Getting all dressed up and going to The Melting Pot for dinner. Never been there so excited about that! I hope they have something that I can order that isn't too big or expensive! Checking out the menu before I go to see what I will get. After that, I think we are going dancing. Maybe I'll burn some extra calories!
Tomorrow is my therapy appointment, then gym and pool. I also have to pay bills and finish up my taxes (yes, I totally procrastinated this year). Sunday is the beach with the family and just relaxing. I will be slathering on sunscreen because I refuse to get all burnt up again!
Happy Friday and enjoy your weekend, everyone!!!!

No bi plans really except for a continuation of spring cleaning which may well last into summer! However, my husband and I are making it a point to be more active while at home. While we both go to the gym most days during the week (him always, me more recently) we realize that if we're at home we tend to just chill and sit on the couch. So instead, this weekend we are going to try to get in a bike ride on both Sat and Sun and also make sure to take long walks in the evenings both days. If we do watch tv it will only be for about 1-2 hours (enough time to watch a movie or something).
Other than that we'll be raiding the farm for lots of delicious veggies so I can make some new recipes.
I hope you have a fan-freaking-tastic time with your friends at the Melting Pot. I've never been so make sure you lemme know how it was!!!!

I bought a bike a few weeks ago and have ridden it once! I may need to wait until I am a little lighter because the seat seemed to not like my big huge butt on it. My husband tried hard to tighten it but it kept kinda leaning back... made it uncomfortable to ride! But I do love riding bikes and hope to be back on it soon! Have a fantastic active weekend! I am going to try to make it to the farmers market Sunday before the beach to get some yummy veggies for the week!
I'm also going to try to swim this weekend if the water doesn't freeze my internal organs!! :-)
That sounds fun! We used to have game night at our house before we moved. Now we live far out so no one wants to trudge out here! Have a great weekend!
If today was any indication of how my weekend will be, i'm in trouble. I went to therapy this morning, and instead of talking, i sat there and cried over nothing for 45 minutes and left. I'm an emotional wreck and really dont know what's triggering it at the moment.
I'm supposed to go for a group bike ride tomorrow with my TRI group but my back really hurts so I dont know if i'll make it. I really want to spend all weekend in bed.
I am NOT going on any dates this weekend. I need a break. Ive went on 3 in the last week and i'm over it. I think I can be okay being single lol.
BTW - i LOVE the melting pot. It's usually pretty expensive but it's great portion sizes for post WLS and tastes great and if you skip the chocolate fondue, can be pretty healthy.
