What are you doing this weekend?
I hope you had fun at the beach!! The beach is my favorite place to be, even the ugly beaches near us will do when I want to be near the water..
Last night we went to my high school's soccer playoff game. Sadly, we lost 2-1. I've followed this group of kids up since middle school so I have taught over half of them at one time or another. Great kids. They were so devastated that they lost. I am proud of them.
This morning we had our spring carnival at my kids elementary school. It was in the mid-70's today. Perfect weather for a carnival. This afternoon one of my daughters had a bday party to go to and tonight we are going out to eat with friends.
Sunday we have my niece and nephew's birthday party and my older daughter has her piano recital in the afternoon.
It seems to be feast or famine around here. I need a quiet relaxing weekend, but that isn't going to happen any time soon!!

Wow! What a busy weekend! I hope you had a great time and got at least a little time to relax! :-)
I did have a great time at the beach but I burnt myself up! It was really windy and chilly and I didn't put on my 30 spf as much as I should have so the tops of my arms, my legs and shoulders are red as a lobster! Oh well, hopefully it will be cleared up by next weekend so I can go to the beach again. :-)
Yikes!! Put on a lot of lotion this week so it will feel better by next weekend. Glad you had fun.
Someday I will live near the beach.

Loved this post...........
KittyKarin, meeting at the beach? Boy that sounds awesome. We are still praying for spring here in the Chicagoland area. I am hoping we dont go right into summer like last year. It was 20 one day and them 83 the next last year. I'd like some sunny 50 and 60's to ease into a long hot summer.
Alison, as always your post made me giggle. Dating is like going on job interviews when you are out of work......ugly but necessary. I so understand having a beer to get thru it.
Kenni how did the couples massage go? I am so going to do that for our anniversary to surprise my hubby. Honey you are going to fine and the best is yet to come. A couple more days and you will be on your way to skinny-dom. I promise you , you will be ok!
Sassy, I too have been donating clothes and it overwhelms me. I have given away so much and still have so much. I was seriously a clothes hoarder! But I am free-cycling and getting rid of it and at least 2/3 is gone.
Rosykate, gardening is not boring it is delicious. I cant wait to get out there and finally be able to do something now that I am physically able. You go girl!
Kendra, I LOVE apple pie. Good for you that you have something that you have created. I have long admired people who can create. I am not that type. In fact, I am the opposite.
Laura, Kids, kids, kids.........I envy you. I miss those days. They were the BEST of my life. My baby is 35 and I would give anything to relive her kids times.
I spent the weekend running around, going to church and hanging with my hubby doing some much needed paperwork for taxes. Ugh.
Next weekend we will make sure and have some real fun! I am going to get the bike out this week and get it tuned up.
Have a great week dear ones,
Sharon
