Not a bad week at all but on Saturday morning, I was 294! I went to the beach and had a great time, didn't drink any beer and brought my own low carb wrap to make while everyone else was eating sandwiches. I did have a few more carbs than normal because I ate some guac with 5 (count them!) chips and Wendy's chili for dinner. I normally don't eat more than 30 or 40 carbs so on Sunday morning, I was up .8 pounds and I was ok with it. So yesterday, I did low carb and drank extra water and I gained again this morning. :-( I think its because I didn't really exercise yesterday or Saturday and I ate pretty late last night. So back to the gym this morning and going to be very strict today with what goes in my mouth. Hopefully the little upswing will be gone soon.
On a better note, I tried on more clothes in my closet that fit. At my highest weight, the size 28 jeans from Lane Bryant didn't fit me and now those are way too big to wear and I am fitting into some 22s and even a size 20 that I haven't worn in about 2 or 3 years. I also tried on my wedding dress and it fits perfectly. So I am back to my wedding weight. Just 15 or so more pounds until I am back around the weight I was 3 years ago when I met my husband. Exciting... can't stop now!

Like Sharon, I am also dreading my surgiversary coming up, I think mostly because I see my surgeon then. Last time I saw him, at 6 months out, he was very impressed and I got a lot of compliments. I have not lost much weight at all since then. Given, I was on an ungodly amount of steroids for several months, and he is aware of that... but still I just feel like I've failed.
On the bright side, only 9 more days until the end of tax season, which means I'll be going from working 8am-10pm on weekdays, and 9-9 on weekends, to only working 8am-5pm! Gasp! Lol, I'm really looking forward to it though. I'm looking forward to hopefully getting back into weights and a lot more hiking. Hope everyone has a great week :)
Nope you didn't fail you have been a great success You have wonderland coming up. Also those steroids like prednisone are horrible. I mean they will make to pack on the weight and fast! Still look at you! You've lost!
