So far so good with pre-op diet
That's great, Daisy! The more you can use the 6 month diet to be prepared for the surgery, the better. It helps so much. Just keep going but don't be too hard on yourself. There will be times when you might not make the right choices but just keep going! I let my life get in the way right at the end of my 6 months and ended up stopping the whole surgery process and gaining back any weight I lost during that time. I finally got back on the wagon last year and got my surgery but I wish I had kept going and not let life get in the way.
Keep in touch with us here and let us know how it's going!

Great start!!! Losing weight during the year before my surgery was the best thing I did for myself - I motivated myself by telling myself that every pound I lost, I was reducing my chance of complications (I was terrified of surgery so that's what worked for me).
Just take baby steps and start making good life style changes and your hard work will pay off.

it gets easier as you get used to your eating plan
Congrats! That's great! I agree with the other posters, losing as much as possible before surgery is a good idea. At least I know it's helping me get into the right mindset and making me feel overall much better. Good luck to you!
