Update from the hospital

IVE BEEN SLEEVED!

My surgeon told my mom that my surgery was rather difficult because of the amount of belly fat she had to get through. So she had to use longer instruments and said my recover would be pretty difficult due to this complication.

I'm tired and sore. I've been walking around the bariatric unit and I'm trying to reach my breathing goal. I hate the gas they pumped into my stomach. Its the worst. I feel uncomfortable and I'm taking shallow breathes. I'm getting better and better, though!

Thank you for all of the support and encouragement!

Best wishes for a speedier than expected recovery! Just keep walking and puffing, and, when they bring you your tray, sipping. Remember to experiment with your liquids. I couldn't get down the cold water, but the ho****er with lemon and broth went down fine. Good luck!

The first few days are uncomfortable. But walking and sipping and using your spirometer will help. I'm wishing you a speedy and uneventful recovery.

Take care!

This is the hardest day after surgery and every day will just get better. The first and second day sucked but the third day I felt great! Before u know it, you'll be a month or two out and you'll be feeling amazing!
