I feel ya, sister!  I too am pre-op and trying to find breakfast foods that are easy to fix.  I am going to give protein shakes a try for breakfast this week instead of my usual breakfast tacos (I usually have two with egg, ham and cheese), followed by a protein bar for a mid-morning snack.

You could fix little egg cups in muffin tins and refrigerate them, like here:  http://www.kalynskitchen.com/2006/10/egg-muffins-revisited-again.html

Good luck!

A LOT of people here at OH eat the egg cups. You can prepare them ahead of time and they are easy to make. My mom bought me a small muffin pan just for making egg cups.

try the bites from Emily bites website or the cupcakes from theworldaccording toeggface.com. they are really good, provide variety and freeze well. I stick one in a plastic baggie nuk for 30 sec. more or less and eat on the go. Makes a great protein snack too. I'm 8 months out and one is usually enough, but sometimes eat a little more. You could do more as preop

I am also pre op and my nutritionist told me to switch between luna bars and zero carb protein shakes. I switch them up I have one or the other for breakfast then lunch and vice versa. I just started so not sure if it will help.

Good luck
