Pre-op Newbie with diet questions
Do you have Sam's Club or Costco out in Hawaii? The only kind of Ready To Drink protein shakes I can stand now are the Premier protein shakes. They are really good and have 30 grams of protein. Not sure if you can order them off the internet but worth a try. I also don't mind the Atkins Shakes that you can get at Walmart or Target but they have a little less protein. But in a pinch!
Oh and I found that I can handle pretty much any protein powder mixed with coffee. That helps me alot.

OMG - I just tried the Yoplait Greek yogurt coconut flavor and it was SO GOOD!!! Not as tangy as the chobani and okios. I am going to try the other favors of the Yoplait Greek yogurt!! Makes a good snack!!!
On a side note, I just tried the Yoplait Greek yogurt coconut and OMG - it is so good and not tangy like the chobani and okios. I am going to try other flavors to see if they are as good. This makes a really good snack!
I feel ya, sister! I too am pre-op and trying to find breakfast foods that are easy to fix. I am going to give protein shakes a try for breakfast this week instead of my usual breakfast tacos (I usually have two with egg, ham and cheese), followed by a protein bar for a mid-morning snack.
You could fix little egg cups in muffin tins and refrigerate them, like here: http://www.kalynskitchen.com/2006/10/egg-muffins-revisited-again.html
Good luck!
