I got my date! I'm having RNY on April 10th!!

And, as of my weigh in today, I have lost 50 pounds since starting my "diet"/lifestyle change, and my BMI is 49!

Anyone else having surgery around that time?

Way to go on losing that much before surgery! I'm sure that will help you adjust afterwards.

I wish I would have done that:-)

Awesome!! Good for you!! Just be aware that since you have lost so much pre-op, your loss may be slower post-op. Do not panic!!

I am 4.5 years out from RNY. It was the right choice for me. I am so thankful to have my life back.
