Orientation in 2 wks
Got my orientation date -march 13!
Orientation is where I meet the support staff who decide when I get referred to the surgeon. Usually takes ~6 mos, I understand, but having already met 2/3 of the staff, taken the classes & some of the counseling already, I could get in pretty quick!
I've lost 65 lbs in the last 14 mos (no longer over 50 BMI!), fairly easily, and my scale is teasing me with 299, 298 (but I'm not ready to believe it yet)...unfortunately this has been a mixed blessing as it made me start to question if I needed the surgery - had a minor freak out - but I'm re-committed...my knees can't wait the amount of time it would take me to lose without help!
