And this morning my scale was 168.  I hate my scale.  At least I dont hate me anymore!!  Grrrrrr!!!  

Lots of 5K's, 10K's., 4 1/2 Marathons, 3 Sprint Triathlon done. 2 Olympics and my  First IRONMAN 70.3 September 2013 and First Full Marathon Dec 2013  !!!!!

Ugh it was a rough weekend. I ate carbs like there was no tomorrow. This is why I live 1500 miles from my family. Beside the carb fest my legs and feet are swollen from flying. I know the gain is mostly water weight and by Thursday it should go down again. I could barely get my shoes on this morning from the swelling. But it happens every time I fly and especially since I flew 2 times in 3 days.  Not discouraged because yes I fell onto the carb wagon but as of last night I was back on the protein wagon so I will be ok as soon as the fluid retention goes away. You know it's bad when you've been the the bathroom 5 times in one hour to pee and yet you just gained another pound. LOL  That and I'm SOOOOOO dehydrated. I was drinking water like crazy but the air in the midwest is so devoid of moisture I feel like a giant prune. Just landing back in Seattle I could feel my skin start to rehydrate. So I'm sucking down water and lemon water this morning to try and get my system flushed out and my hydration fixed.

It sounds like the slip is a thing of the past and you are riding the protein  wagon again. Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad the trip is over and you are back to getting to be the skinny biotch you are meant to be. I live in the midwest and I am a giant prune with the dry air. Between the heat and the clothes dryer I feel like i am a walking electric bolt. I keep slathering on the coconut oil, but my body just sucks it in like a sieve and I'm dry again. I'll be glad when the weather changes.

Egh. But, tried on a pair of non-stretch 26's and they finally!!!!!! fit :-). I have been looking like mary-kate and ashley olsen bag lady because the jeans that have fit my waist are gigantic in my thighs and legs. Like, seriously I could fit the hubs in there with me. But today I tried on the new jeans, whoo :-) and they fit and do not look like parachute pants on me. It was starting to get a bit ridiculous with the 28s but the waist was fitting so I'd been holding off on the 26s until today.

Great job Hokeymom! :)  Here is how I did.

LW: 175.1

TW: 173.8

Loss 1.3 pounds.

 

I don't know if to be happy or upset.  The loss is sooo slow I freak out and think I won't keep losing.
