Been MIA but I'm back

I'll try and stay a little more active on this forum.  Ive been dealing with a lot of emotional stuff and unfortunately that translated into a lot of eating of sugary desserts and a few unwanted pounds. As a pre-op, and a new op, up until very recently, I thought I had moved away from this part of me...but it resurfaces, even as much as I didnt want it to. One very important lesson - always be vigilant. It's easy to say yo've "changed" and it won't happen, but it can, and almost certainly will to some extent.

One thing ive noticed though is that I have a much lower tolerance for gaining weight. Being smaller means a few extra lbs can be very uncomfortable. When I was 400 lbs, I could pack on an extra 10-20 lbs and barely ever notice. Now, not so much, and I hate being uncomfortable, so its a little bit easier to force myself to stop the train wreck.

Im pretty much all recovered from my plastics, and the last thing I want to do is waste the progress ive made, sooo, here I go with one more attempt to get my life back on track.

Been wondering where you've been.

I get it. I do. I'm having some issues myself. Vigilance - a must have. Sucks, but it's true!

Hugs, friend.

((HUGS)) We've all been there. Those bad mental space times SUCK. You can do it though. Get rid of the junk from the house. You know those first few days SUCK, but you got this. I know you can do it. You have my cell # if you need to vent/complain/etc. Love you!
