Direct Correlation Between Clutter and the Size of our Bodies AKA Decrapify
Peter Walsh the de-clutter dude that was on Oprah for years states that if we get rid of the clutter we will lose the fat. There has been research done on this and it has been proven to be true. The more clutter we have the harder it is to lose weight.
Personally, I have experienced this. I used to have a bulging closet in my bedroom full of clothes i never wore. I donated it on freecycle and I lost over 100 lbs. I still have about 65 more pounds to go, so when I saw the 40 day lent challenge to get rid of 40 bags in 40 days I immediately was on board. The link is below. There is a page on facebook just for the folk doing it and I think it is going to help me de-clutter my house and help me lose weight.
You do not have to be a christian to get into this. This is for all of us who need to dump the excess baggage.
Here is the link and the information.

But I love my stuff. In fact I need a bigger house so I can store more stuff. LOL
I just took 3 bags of clothes to the homeless shelter. I only kept one pair of jeans from my highest weight and one shirt so I have comparison clothes. Other than that I tossed out a bunch of old clothes.
