New and nervous!

WELCOME! I'm still pretty brand new and I totally love the people in this forum. Super welcoming and always around to answer ANY and ALL questions if they can, and with all the veterans around here, someone is bound to know the answer and if they don't they'll point you in the right direction. Even if you just need to vent, which you will, everyone around here has gone through the same things you are and will go through.

I live in Hawaii, so I'm sure the process will be very different for you. From my info session to surgery date was 6 months, however, my medical was taken away for three months while I went to school so technically it would have only been 3 months. My PCP already had my weight history so things really sailed through for me and I got my approval on the first try which I found out can sometimes take appeals but don't give up! It's worth it and YOU'RE worth it. :)
