FLAP FLAP FLAP

Yup that's what I sound like when I work out. My fat flabs are losing their fat and becoming squishier which in turn means they are flappier which means when I'm on the treadmill or the elliptical I sound like a flock of seagulls coming in for a landing. FLAP FLAP FLAP! It's SUPER annoying! Not to mention embarrassing when people around you look over to see why there is this huge bat getting ready to invade the gym. We won't even discuss what it sounds like when I bounce down the stairs.

FLAP FLAP FLAP!

OMG, this made me laugh.  I know loose skin is a side effect of WLS and it sucks.  My arms already are gross and floppy and I can just imagine what they will look like deflated! LOL

I say just turn up your Ipod and sing loud to cover up the noise. HA! Not really but the other day I was on a treadmill at the gym and I felt like I sounded like a herd of elephants walking on that noisy thing. So I did just turn up my music and ignored the looks from others.  Tell them to get their own Ipod if it bothers them! :-)

I have only two words for this problem....compression clothing..........it stops the flapping while working out. It has been my savior. I have had issues finding good compression work out clothes in my size, but as I get smaller I am finding more. Also, when i say compression, be aware of " light compression"  in the description. this basically means no compression. Go for the non-lite if you can find it. You made me crack up! Loved the visual......Hugs, Sharon

Was going to suggest the same thing!  Compression clothes and loud music.  Or your own "at home" treadmill!

I have a treadmill at home but to be honest I don't use it. I only do treadmill at the gym. I don't know why I even bothered getting the stupid thing. it sits in my living room and mocks me but I don't get on it. I head to the gym instead.

As for the compression garments I haven't found any that work in my size. I'm still in that Huge phase so I feel like I can't breathe in them. Ah well I will just flap along anyway but I just noticed it was getting louder when people were looking at me funny. LOL
