Was digging out some old pictures of me to prove to a friend how much my daughter looked like me and I came across some wedding pictures, and some of me when I was in my early 20's and I had to admit to my husband that he was right: I do look thinner today than I looked then. It was a GREAT discovery! It was 15 years ago! Just simply cannot beleive this!
And all I can think now is:"AND TO THINK I AM STILL NOT DONE LOSING"
I will soon be a sexy baby!

I started at over 300 but just couldn't tell anyone. Why is it still so hard to tell anyone what I weigh? Even y'all that know exactly what I am dealing with. Anywho, thanks and have a fabulous day.

I have lost 34.6 pounds all together and 25.6 since my surgery. I have my one month follow up on Wednesday with my doc and I think she'll be happy for me. I had a little stall from week 2 to 3 but that's normal. I'm just so freakin excited that the 350's, 340's and 330's passed by so quickly! Here is what i have to say to those decades...I hardly knew ye and I never ever want to see ye again *****ES!!!!

I'm trying to get my head back into the game...i had a disasterous few weeks where I just ate anything that was made with sugar! Haven't exercised or done anything productive or healthy at all. But, back to reality.
TW - 206
I havent been on a scale in weeks, but clearly, the damage has been done. It was a little shock to see that on the scale, as it's about 12 lbs higher than the last time i was on the scale, but it will go back down quickly. I went back to cooking my meals on Sunday, so I have no excuses. I realized that I can't keep restarting this "diet mentality" and trying to force myself to eat low carb, or low cal for that matter. My plan for the next few weeks has some small amounts of fruit and whole grains worked in, along with veggies to give me some energy to work out. Half marathon training starts in a month!
I am going to do a hydrostatic body comp testing this week. It's $50 for a accurate metabolic testing - it will tell me how many calories my body needs. I think having this info will be good for me so I don't feel like im shooting in the dark trying to figure out how many calories I need. I am also returning to my boxing/therapy this week so that will be good.
