I have been lurking in here awhile and thought I would say hi! When I started my weight loss journey I had a bmi of 53.1, so I hope you will let me be part of this awesome board too! My story differs slightly as I didn't have wls...but I started out as a heavyweight and still weigh 300 in my head. That is what I am working on! It isn't as bad as it used to be...but she is still in there nonetheless! It is so weird sometimes, know what I mean??

Anyway, I just wanted hi since I post in here every now and again!

Howdy. I completely get ya. It will take forever and a day for me not to be heavy in my head. It doesn't seem to matter how much I lose, I still see the same fat me in the mirror. But I'm working on it. I am a work in progress, and I am beautiful.

I think we ALL know exactly what you are saying. It's really hard for your head to catch up with your body. We got this!
