Recovery time?

So the deal with my job is if I don't maken80 hours in one month then they will take away my medical which obviously I will need after surgery. Because I'm a private nurse, I don't get breaks but my job is pretty laid back. My patient sleeps a lot so I probably have to help him up maybe twice or three times a day. The other time, i spend cooking and light cleaning. Maybe it won't be so bad. Thank you all for your replys! It really helps, so so so much!
