I lost 100

I started to go to the gym again

3 days later I am up 4 freaking pounds

Why do I even bother going to the gym?

WHY???????

Ok now i said it in the subject title I would be complaining

That often happens, your muscles are retaining water, don't fret!

Keep at it and not only will the weight drop, but you'll start to tone and look fabulous!

Please let me know does this happen to you also, cause everybody I speak to seem to think I am crazy or abnormal.

 

I even posted this on the Ontario forum and they are telling me to go to my center because I don't pee much when I start exercising.  But I know I am not sick, it always does that.  It is just f.....g annoying!  Know what I mean?

Do you add electrolytes when you work out? It may help, I always drink Powerade Zero or use Nuun tablets and drink a lot of water. 16-30oz each hour depending on how much cardio I'm doing. Your problem is very common, but can be improved best of luck!

When you start burning fat your body will start retaining water to provide energy to breakdown the fat cells. You also start building muscle so the muscles start holding onto water to facilitate repair and rebuild.

It gets better. I had the same problem. I have been working out hard for about 12 weeks now and my body adjusted after a week or so.

You will start losing again.

My prob has been water intake. I've been forgetting to drink and of course I have stalled again.........

And so it is what it is........

Hey thanks to all of you! I hopped my water from9 cups to twelve on the days I went to the gym and it's starting to come off again. Wont be a big losing week. As it went up until testerday but I don't mind it much! At least I feel good. My body feels stronger. I knownit is completely impossible to actualle BE stronger after only one week. Hahahaha. But this is how I feel. So well I'll take it!
