Half marathon complete - x post
I finally achieved one of my most important goals - I ran my half marathon and lived to tell about it. I'll post the link to my race report or it's on my blog (which is linked in my signature)

I can't even quite comprehend yet the fact that I went from 420 lbs to running the streets of LA for 2:44 minutes. I never would have imagined this was possible. I was always envious of runners - but those damn skinny people make it look so easy!! But, I'm officially a runner :)
I'm done losing weight for a while. Im going to focus on recovering from plastic surgery, and will eventually re-evaluate my goals from there. I know I will eventually need to pick some kind of maintenance range but that can wait until I'm healed.

Hi Alison,
I know how much completing the half marathon meant to you. I am so happy you were able to accomplish this long time goal. You must feel like a million bucks!
You have always been such an inspiration to me. I recall reading your posts early last year as I lurked in this forum, waiting to see if i could have VSG.
Thanks for all the encouraging words. You are a hero.
I wish only God's blessings for you.
