Hitting my limit...learning to deal. PIC INSIDE!

So I am 16 months post op gastric bypass and I hit my goal at about 11 months out. My higher weight was 311 and I am now fluctuation between 146lbs-151lbs. I have lost 165lbs and I am so happy about that but I have tried everything to lose another 10 or 20 lbs! I have been walking and jogging 3 times a week for the past months and NOTHING. What should I do? I feel like my body is at it's limit. I am just not happy. I assume I have a good 10 lbs of skin to be removed so I guess I weigh more around 136-142lbs but I don't know. I just feel like Would be happier with another 10lbs. What should I do? Liquid diet? More fluids? Less fluids? (I drink 100 oz a day)

Don't get me wrong. I am SO proud of myself for losing 165lbs! That's A LOT OF WEIGHT! I just want to push my body a little farther. Or do I have to learn to just be happy how I am?

PLEASE HELP!

Here is my newest before and after pic. Enjoy!

Amazing Amazing Amazing!
First question you need to answer is "Are you happy with how you look?"
Don't look at numbers....are you healthy?  Do you like your appearance?  Are you happy with results?
If one of them is no, not yet...then change it....if you want to lose an extra 10, then reajust your intake, get more protein then the rest in...so basic but we sometimes lose ourselves when we start to maintain and then bam, more carbs then anything else...lol...if you keep tracking what you eat, you might be surprised...lol...and then that might just give you the extra push to do what you "want".

Congrats on your amazing results...you did so well and you are so so beautiful!

 Hi Amber,

Amazing journey. You look great. I have heard the last 10 lbs is the hardest to lose.

Maybe giving your body a break for a few weeks. Keep working out so you do not gain, and weigh daily to make sure. Then after a few week****ting the protein hard again and seeing if that works. I think sometimes our bodies need a rest from the diet to re-energize.

Good Luck

You don't say how tall you are. If you have a lot of skin, it might be time to have a consult to talk about how much is really there.

I'd give yourself a break for a few weeks. Sometimes your body just has to readjust. Hang in there!

You have lost a lot of weight in a short period of time.  Your transition has been miraculous and you should be very proud of yourself.  I understand how that number on the scale has become a challenge to you now, since you are so close to what you think your goal should be.  I think one of the above posters are right, you need to just let your body readjust.  You need to be focused on maintaining or at the very least sure you don't gain anything.

Your journey, for me, has been very inspiring.  I would be tickled pink to be at my high school weight again (150lbs).  If I can accomplish that, more than anything, I would be vindicated.  However, at the same time, I realize that the nearly 60lbs that I have lost in three months has gotten me away from the horrific number (my heaviest, 310lbs!).   I feel so much better already, I can't even imagine what you feel like already at the end of your journey.

I crossed my legs today for the first time that I can recall in years.  Huge YAY for me.

Think of all you've accomplished to this point, that should outweigh (no pun intended) all the frustrations you have on the final ten pounds.

Kudos! You look amazing!!!
