-2 lbs this week. I'll totally take it! I'm still on a big dose of steroids, but they don't appear to be working so I can slowly taper off. I'm going to start this weird new drug by IV transfusion once a week, some nasty side effects so I'm not sure how that will effect my weight. I'll still be on steroids when I start that too. Oh well, at least I'm not gaining :)

So, that's down 1 this week :) I've been slacking off this week, my mental health has kind of went in and out of the toilet the past month so while I'm not going entirely food crazy, I'm not being overly vigilant like I usually am. I'm okay with that. I have a business trip on Thursday/Friday of this week and Thursday-Sunday (well, that's the OAC convention so not realy business) so I'm sure I won't really lose much the rest of this month. Eh, that's okay. My body and mind needed a break. I think knowing I'm going to revise that goal number plays with my head too because I'm "almost there"

My goal is 175, but I have 9 more pounds and I really don't think I'll be fully happy with my loss at that point. I'll revise by 5-10 pounds at a time until I am because I don't really know where I want to be. The BMI chart says 150, but I dunno that I'll get there. I'm 5'6". We'll see. I also have skin issues, of course.

It sounds like we are either doing good or struggling a bit. What's important is we either post or even lurk, so that we stay in this game called weight loss. I love this group because I feel accountable. For me it's another tool to stay focused for the long run.

So far I am just using some relaxation techniques, basuc stuff, but as it seems to not be working anymore and since I refuse(for now at least) to go back on pills, I am closing my daycare in a month and that will give me timeto focus on me and my family.
I need to have time and energy to go to the gym, eat slowly also you know!
I haven't list any thing this week, too tired and stressed. I just hope it will start dropping again this week end

-3 YAY I'm exactly 20lbs from where I was when I first started this journey! I'm still pre op, and this is before my pre op diet. I'm SO pleased with myself! I still want to get down another 5-10 lbs. 354 or under and I'll just be STOKED! At the beginning of this year I was well over 380lbs- I don't know exactly how much I was but I know I had already lost weight before my consult. This is about the weight I was last year (I put on about 30lsb after a knee injury) so getting back here makes me feel like I'm where I was and I don't have to work extra hard just to get to where I was originally starting. SO happy today!
