I am so happy for you. 6 months ago I was wearing a 5x. Yesterday I bought a 2X sweater. 7 months ago i wore a 52DDD bra, yesterday I bought a size 42DD. I feel like the incredible shrinking woman. This surgery is the best thing I could have ever done for myself.

Congrats to all of us

Sharon

I know what you mean. It is confirmation of actualy lossing weight. I am a smo myself and have lost 70 lbs since surg, 3 month. NO ONE at work has said anything to me about lossing weight. I am in management and go to tons of meetings, see lots of people, etc. so weird. I was beginning to wonder if I really looked any different. 2 weeks ago my x-boss now co-worker told me I needed to buy new clothes cause I was looking a little bag-lady-ish ( : . We discussed the no comments and decided it is kind of a professional thing. No one knows how to comment or what to say. Kind of like, Oh, you got your ugly bent nose fixed and now you look so much better. LOL. I was off for 5 weeks and everyone knew I had surgery, but my department did not tell anyone outside of it what for. Finally last week one woman I'm  close towhispered to me, Did you have WLS? you look so good. I was all smiles and said yes. I'm honest with most people and see no reason to hide it. Other people have started to comment this last week, so I guess it is noticable. I was really beginning to wonder.
