Another wonderfull week

I eat more, I still lose and I feel better.  I cannot say that I am not afeaid of eating anymore but I force myself to do it because I know it is the right thing to do

I worked out 14 hours last week and did a 5K and GAINED 1 pound. I went out saturday nite and did not drink one drop of alcohol at an Oktoberfest that had over 100 varieties of beer.

I know there is a lesson in there somewhere.

OK, I guess I am on board with this now. I think that I am mentally ready to focus on weightloss again.

After a couple of months at 215 and about 4 months in the 210s, I have finally started losing again.  But it wasn't a stall. For those not on VSG board, here is the explanation.

Im pretty much down with losing weight for the next 6 weeks - I'm way too stressed out to go hard core right now. I still track my food, and im doing everything I can not to go crazy, but as I get ready for a 1/2 marathon, I'd just. rather....eat.


The number on the scale - while somewhat important - doesnt mean a whole lot to me right now. I realized yesterday it doesnt matter if I'm 193 or 180 - I ran 9.5 miles straight...and I am running 13 miles in a month...theres nothing that I will be able to do at 180 that I can't do now. So Im making peace with the scale. With PS coming up, I will definitely be cutting the carbs out, getting tons of protein, and will hopefully drop a few lbs of fat in addition to what is cut off.

 You are so right!!!!  I just finished mine and I feel awesome.  Had a good time and of course got a PR since it was my first time. :-)  2:49    I ate what my body needed and didnt lose any weight, but dropped to 23 % body fat.  Now I am getting ready for the next 1/2  on my Birthday in December.  Keep it up and congrats on the 9.5.....isnt it cool????
