NOVEMBER SURGERY DATE!!!!!
I had VSG at BMI 60+ in June of 2011. I'm now BMI 30.5 or so. And I'm still losing. It seems to have been enough for me, so don't discount just the VSG 
But, like you, I chose this one "just in case" BUT I will tell you that I would work it HARD to make it work without having to revise to a DS. You gotta want it... and want it BAD.

I'm only 2 months out but my starting bmi waz 70.2. I chose thd sleeve and today I'm down 90 lbs total. I decided the sleeve will work for me if I work with my sleeve. Good luck on your journey!
