This is actually Friday's weight.  Today the scale said 325 but I don't believe it, even if it said it 3 times. I do not believe I've lost 2 lbs in 5 days, especially after my horrible no-impulse-control Saturday.

 Im up 11 lbs in two weeks.  I didnt even know this was possible, but I guess I'll make my doc figure it out on Wedn.

Just curious--do you take a diuretic?
I just ask because my weight can swing 9-11 pounds in 2 days if I don't take one regularly. (It all seems to accumulate in my left leg).  However, I have really low bp plus some other heart stuff---so the Dr. isn't really happy that I take it at all.

(what the heck---got cut off)  So I just have to manage the Rx. He keeps me on a short time frame for refills.

 Ive never had water retention issues before. The most ive ever gone up/down is about a 4-5 lbs range and that is realllly rare - maybe 2-3 times, usually water weight is a solid 2 lb gaain for me after a craptastic day of eating. 

I mean - my clothes are ******g tight these days....im just uncomfortable,. If someone told me i gained 20-30 lbs, Id believe them. 

I dont understand. I track every single bite - even on the days where I ate 2500 cal - i logged that crap. Sooo, even though I went back and added up all my diary entries for the last 2 weeks, my average calories are 1400 - I'm running anywhere between 10-15 miles a week, im working out...i'm far from sedentary. I dont eat fast food, simple sugar, the majority of my food is protein...it makes no sense to me whatsoever. 

It is what it is at this point. Maybe despite my toned/muscular looking body - maybe my BMR is 500 calories and I am actually gaining weight. I have a doctors appointment wednesday to see if my doc has any idea - until them im on a strict 800 calorie diet. If my running sucks, it sucks, but I cannot believe I am once again over 200 lbs.

It doesn't make sense at all. Particularly with all the running/workouts you do. Hopefully the Dr. can help.
I'm stretching here but---instead of looking at just the numbers---is there something maybe you've added to your diet that's really different over the last few week?  I'm sure you've thought of that but it just sounds so strange---like something is going on with your system and maybe a particular food?  I know you're a demon re tracking and staying on your plan. Maybe a thyroid issue? That just jumped into my brain.

You mentioned the BMR of 500----I've thought of that too....at 800 cals. Is that my maintenance point since my loss is going so slowly for the last half year? Scares the s*&( out of me.

I'm confident you'll get this figured out soon. I know it's downright depressing but hang in there---it's got to turn around.

I'm having trouble trusting that number.  It definitely sucks.  But i have a history of crazy water swings.  It happened overnight when I was about 35 or 36.  I've had them ever since. Keep doing what you doing until you get an educated answer.

It HAS to be related to the meds... at first I was like "well, remember it happened to me too once" but this is week 2 and no movement. Is there another med they can try?

Freaky, girl. But it WILL come off eventually. You have to believe that stay steady with it. xoxo... you know where I am if you need someone to scream at.

 Alison, Are u sure the scale isn't bonkers? Are you getting your period? I do not believe you have gained 11 lbs, unless you have been lifting weights 2 hrs a day! Girl, calm down, it's not a real gain....Sharon
