Complications

I've been MIA because at 3yrs out, I had a major complication. I just spent the last 2 weeks in the hospital, had 2 emergency surgeries, and they don't know why it happened.

What occurred was at the Y part of the RNY, one intestine sucked up the other side, and twisted, and was dying. The pain was unreal! I'm incredibly lucky that I didn't lose any intestine, but I'm on PICC line nutrition, so I yam going through all the food stages of RNY all over again.

So, even though this was an ordeal, and my recovery is slow, I'm still happy I had weight loss surgery as I'm healthy in every other way.

Just thought I would share the reality, sometimes crap happens, but it doesn't have to define you.

I can't believe all this - but you are such a trooper! You have just had such a rough year. Hopefully this all means next year will be the best :)

Please take it easy and take care of yourself - dont go breaking any bones or losing any limbs!! We want to see you whole and healthy soon!

This has been a rough year, but I am taking it VERY easy. It's so frustrating though, it's like I'm back to where I started, I can't even walk a block without getting winded...it sucks, but I will get there, I have faith.

Are you getting excited for your upcoming plastics? I'm sooo jealous, you're going to look like a freaking supermodel!

I am so sorry to hear you have been so sick!!!! But really glad to hear you are doing better!!!! It may take some time but you will be back on that bike and kicking ass in no time!!
