Monday Morning Weigh In

 Good morning and Happy Monday everyone!!

HW - 420
LW - 197
TW - 196
GW - 180 (pre plastics)

Two weeks ago, I was 194. Friday, I was 195, but the scale just doesnt want to work with me here. I feel like Im already in maintenance and just bouncing around a couple of lbs. I'm only marginally frustrated because ive been working my butt off - at the gym, but I know ive also chosen to up my carbs so this may be the consequence I have to deal with. 

I'm making peace with my body - now that I am 3.5 months away from plastics, I can see an end to this excess skin misery, and I'm becoming slightly more postive towards my body in general. I have my moments, but im learning to appreciate how tone and fit I am becoming. 

All things considering, last week was a great week. Took up boxing, and loved it. I'm supposed to be training for a half but all I want to do is boxing and a bunch of conditioning drills instead :) Ready for another great week!

Good Morning Everybody!

HW - 320
TW - 216.8
GW - 135
-1.8

Last week went pretty good,  Still working on increasing water intake.  I know i am getting at least 64, but that includes my 2 cups of coffee.  I just don't feel thirsty lately. 
One good thing - BMI goal -- I am now just Obese!  an accomplishment i never thought i would be happy about.
 
OT....I have to vent a bit.... i am having dental issues AGAIN!!! this is so frustrating and painful.  I had a dental implant in April, then in June developed an infection.  its been about a month and again another infection around implant site.  i see the dentist today at noon.  I am dreading this,  more pain and discomfort in the dental chair.  i have always been very particular about dental health and i eat healthy and take vitamins.  I follow their post treatment instruction.  I am just frustrated and not looking forward to more courses of antibiotics for a month and pain meds.

just needed to rant.. thanks.

Well got back from dentist and he thinks infection is from a bone chip and infection is localized, put me back on antibiotics, but only for 7 days.  DDS said after the temporary cap is goes on i shouldn't have this problem. I just  hope i never have to have another crown put in where the dentist causes a vertical root fracture in the tooth right next to it.  As a result,  the molar had to be pulled one week before VSG. 

trying not to let this overshadow my BMI victory.

I am actually under 250! I have no idea when the last time that happened was.
I don't feel like I had a good week exercise wise, however. I only weight trained once and didn't get as much cardio in as I wanted to. Something to work on this week though! I'm starting to track loss patters, too. I've noticed an odd trend, the weeks where I actually get in a good amount of exercise I don't lose as much as the weeks I don't get as much exercise as I feel I should. Not sure this makes sense, and I've only tracked 4 weeks of this so I could be totally wrong. Have a great week, everybody!

Trust me, if I could lose more weight by working out harder, I'd never stop, but ...never works out quite that way :)

Just gotta keep it up - I gave up on focusing on the WL aspect of exercise along time ago cause it just bugs me, so now I exercise to get fit! Keeps me on the exercise track. \

I definitely need to keep myself motivated in terms of exercise, I've been slipping a bit the last 2 weeks. I was thinking I might reward myself with a new outfit if I hit my work out goals this week
I got one of those "we miss you!" e-mails from LB, 40% off, so I'm thinking I might need to take advantage of that

Going under 250 was a huge deal for me- bigger than going below 300. It meant that I was closer to 200s than 300s. Great job!

Thanks so much! I'm not sure it's really sunk in for me yet... I keep dwelling on how much I still have left to lose versus how much I've actually lost. I think I might need to take a moment to stop and smell the roses!

Didn't weigh this morning, but I weighed in yesterday at 226, up a couple of pounds from earlier last week, but that is water weight and maybe inflamation from the exercise I've been getting, so I am not worried.

I'm feeling very focused and back on track.

HW: 415
CW: 225
GW: 160? (Not sure if this is doable for me as I haven't been in this range since about grade 4). I will re-assess as I get closer. Onderland is my goal for the moment.
