New effort today- accountability time

I signed up for my fitness pal.  Hopefully I will last a week given my hatred of tracking.  But I have a new home computer and going online shouldn't be such a chore anymore.

I'm feeling more motivated.  Facing up to the the feelings of anxiety about my career and loneliness of being new here helped. Also, Allison's breakthrough got me a little excited too (weird, but true). 

I never gave up, but now I feel I am focused again.

Its funny but I love tracking. I dont know why. I havent missed a day in 385 days :-p  (MFP keeps track of how long youve logged in for).

It feels good to know exactly how many calories, helps me plan, keeps me focused and really keeps me accountable. I have promised to log every bad choice, and ive been true to my word even when I cringe, but more often than not, i think realllly hard about putting something in my mouth.

I hope you love it as much as I do!

It worked in the past.  I just find it tedious.  I'll try to have a more positive attitude about it, especially since it is an effective tool.  I will say that it helped that everything that I tried to enter was already in the database.

 Once you get into a routine, and all your normal foods pop up for an easy add, it's a no-brainer :)

Plus - you will always want to check in to see what im up to, right ;-)  (jk im not that self absorbed...or am i??)

I was bad with tracking too!!  Hated it!! Docs told me to do it for years. I'd start, get through a week or so then lose interest. Yes it was such a chore!!  However since I've been on myfitnesspal (since a couple day after my surgery) I haven't missed a day of tracking.

Oh and if you have an android or iphone I highly recommend downloading the mobile app. Can you say life saver??  Hahahaha. All ya gotta do is scan the barcode!  And yeah, it's kinda fun too!!
