On Monday Iat 730 am I was sleeved. I stayed one night in the hospital n was discharged tuesday night cause I was walking a lot not having much pain and able to drink all liquids . I feel great. Of course I get occasional gas or pain from trapped air I think, but other than that I'm doing good. Also today I had a dr appt w my pcp an I was weighed in at 397. I cried cause I have been over 400 lbs for so long. My dr was so excited I went through with the surgery and said in no time I'd be at goal.

congratulation to you!  We were sleeved at the same time!

As per gases, I kind of know what you mean  hihihi!

I evacuated a lot of gases this morning, and just out of curiosity, I wighted myself right after (I had just weighted myself as my morning routine just before) and I had lost 1.2 pounds in gases, SERIOUSLY!

So think about it in a positive way, once they are evacuated, lots of pounds also will be!

Hey,

I don't want to be taking supplement as I want to do it naturally, with as much as possible (without freaking out about it you know!) non processed food.

So if I look at my 5 past days, here is how it went, I am so unsure if I am doing good sometimes, it's scary.  But Surgeon seems to think it is supposed to be a slow progression, so I guess I am doing really good

Day 1:  Surgery day:  can have a few sips of water, suck on ice, but not much

Day 2: Same as day one for water, no progression, encouraged to walk and sip more, trying my hardest.  Able to have 1/2 cup chicken broth in the morning.  Walking is easy, sipping just doesn't go in.  Tried 5 extra miniature bites of jell-o, vomitted it 1 hour later

Day 3:  Trip back home, sipping is better, but nothing near the 500ml, wasn't yet counting, but couldn't finish half of a 500ml bottle, so fluid intake really low.  No dehydration though!
1/2 cup of chicken broth in the morning, 1/2 in the afternoon.

Day 4(about 2.5g of protein):   1/2 cup chicken broth am, 1/2 cup chicken broth lunch, 1/2 cup jell-o pm plus about 500ml water

Day 5(about 19.5g of protein):  1/2 cup chicken broth am, 1 1/2 onces chicken breast+1/4 cup veggies t lunch, 1/4 cup yogourt and 1/2 cup jell-o.  Was really hungry that day, not so much thirsty, water intake was really low, less than a bottle

Day 6(about 35g of protein):  1/4 cup cottage in am, 1 1/2 onces chicken breast+1/4 cup veggies at lunch, same thing for dinner, 1/2 cup jell-o as a snack, water bottles 2 so 1 liter of water, realy good day, feeling better.  I thought I would lose less since eating more, lost 4.9 the next day
