Hey,

Got sleeved this monday.  I am having a really hard time drinking and eating (eating is a no no for now, water and chicken broth have a hard time going down so I am not yet trying to eat.  Jell-O just comes right out so will wait a few days before trying it again).

I hated the first night as I was vomitting a lot, but now that the nausea is gone, I am starting "slowly" to like my sleeve.

I started my adventure at 360, which has been my highest wait.  This morning, I am 338.6.  I just can't wait to be under the 300's hahaha!

Try to just take it slow and do what you can...as the swelling goes down inside, it will get easier. Congrats!!

I am so happy for you. The first week after surgery isn't a picnic, but after that things go back to normal pretty quickly. As the swelling goes down you will feel better. I never had vomiting but I had nausea. I took a few days to subside. I went back to work after a week and did fine. I too could not tolerate jello. I made myself a giant pots of chicken soup and pureed the veggies in the broth. I ate that for weeks with protein shakes and was very satisfied. I recall crying the day the scale was 299.6. I knew i would never have to see the 300's again. Best, Sharon

hey thank you all!

I had some jell-o and yogourt yesterday.  Went really well!  I think I am doing wonderfull!  The bandages are already starting to come off slowly.

It takes a few hours of being awake and moving in the morning before feeling hungry, is this normal?  I use to be a good breakfast eater, and a strong beleiver that this is THE most important meal of the day.

Today, I will have some soup, veggies soup.

I am not really concentrating on protein now, but mostly on fluid intakes.

Down 4.5 this morning

wow this issssssssssssssss soooooooooooooooooooo great!

Just don,t push it.  Go slow.  As for being hungry.  It is blessing.  In   about. a  year the hunger will return.  Just Drink your protein shakes and your  three small meals.  Soups  are  great  just change up the flavors.  Just  don't  start eating solids to soon.
Use this time to study and learn new what you need to be eating.   Until  you can hit the Gym.

Hi,

Yeah I do know this very well!

And by the way, I do feel hungry, all day long!  Sad isn't it?  I thought THAT would go away.  pftttt

But the mornings, no I don't feel hungry.  Which is not what I was before.
