NSV and a....I don't know what I'd call it!

Hello OH friends.

Today was my bestie's rehearsal for the Friday wedding. There were no plans for dinner but was invited out and ended up at The Old Spaghetti Factory. The NSV is kind of two-fold: I did NOT eat any bread and also, I ate about 1/4-1/2 cup of linguini and it did nothing for me. I used to die for the sourdough bread and pasta. My "I don't know what" is that I can't find the menu item online for nutritional value :( I know that it was a "deck of cards" portion of chicken (3 oz) and I counted 1/2 cup pasta to be safe. The sauce was garlic parmasian with olive oil. So I counted 1/8 cup of garlic (it was REALLY garlicky) and 2 tbsp of oil. Along with the part salad (did find the salad info) it came out to a little more than 500 calories. I've decided that I do not like not having detailed nutritional info!!! Can only imagine the damage I could have done but I DIDN'T!!

I get a lot of anxiety when I don't have detailed nutritional info....i mean, hard core numbers obsessive compulsive person here!!

Hey - whatever works at this point. It is much much better than my previous life where i was happy to be oblivious the crap i was putting in my body. My new problem is just healthier (for my body, not my mind lol)

This is a noticable NSV!! Be proud, things are changing! Keep with your good habit you are learning!! The further out it can be more challenging, but being aware again as I always say is key to acting!!

I understand wanting to know nutritionally what you consumed...all a part of being aware. Maybe not always what we want to hear..lol.

Balance of consuming and expending.... How else do we know?!!

So many calories can hide and lurk and so we ask and learn!!

Hugs and again great awareness in you NSV!

MAKE IT A GREAT DAY!!         SHERRIE <3
