Countdown Begins

One month and a week away.
So today I booked my flight to Mexico so it's now official. I'm one month and a week away from my surgery. I thought I'd been handling things ok but now I've got nervous butterflies. Not that I'm scared of surgery, I'm just excited and jittery and just want to get the show on the road. Plus I feel like I still have a million and a half things to do before I'm ready. Eeek!
I know this post doesn't really have anything useful in it but I just had to come and say it because I'm keeping this under wraps from the majority of the people in my life. My immediate family knows but no one else does except 2 friends. I'm dying to say something but at the same time I want to just keep this to myself.
Anyway thanks for listening.

Yay for your date!! I was so crazy with nervous energy before my surgery. I planned, re-planned, made lists, researched, organized, cleaned, etc, I am suprised y husband didn't leave me with all my craziness!! I think it just comes with the teritory.
You should consider telling people about your surgery, my co-workers and friends have actually been my biggest supporters. They can share in your joy and victories. I know thats been my experience at least. :)
Good luck to you, this time will seem like a blur when it's over!
