For some reason, I'm having trouble posting a reply to your original.
But I just wanted to add that I think this was a great, honest post with true feelings. You always are a straight shooter.
I admire what you done since surgery but have allot of admiration for your pre surgery work.
Not an easy task.

Happy Birthday and re-birthday!!! I think you are dead-on about your VSG. In the end it is all about our choices. I am am impressed that you are able to keep away from your trigger food. It is a struggle. I know you have been nursing an injury and have not been as active as usual. Injury is a huge fear of mine. I feel like if I cant work out the weight will just pile back on overnight. I know its not true but it feels that way. Glad you are feeling better and again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! I really hope you had a great one!!!
