Friday!!!
Praying!
You will do great. Pain is different for everyone. Depends on your tolerance, but they do tend to keep you pretty well medicated. Make sure you follow your surgeons directions and get and walk as soon as they let you. It will help a lot.

I was in a lot of pain after surgery, but I think that was more mental than physical, but I had a morphine button, too. I was up walking within 3 hours - it really does help the gas pains!
I was also sent home with percocet, which I have used after I've done my daily walking. I have tylenol, too, which got me through the first night at home.
It is very individual, but just know it's totally worth the temporary pain.

Best wishes for this Friday!! Hugs!! You will do great! Everyone's experience with pain is different. All cir****tances are different. My doctors office told me up front it would be one of the hardest surgeries I would have. I beleive them, and know for me it was. But with any surgery there will be pain. You will get through it and pain meds are generally great and will help.
You will be sitting on this side of the losers bench very soon!! How exciting!
Hugs
Ps. Let us know as soon as you can on how you are doing! We want updates as soon as you can, OK!!
