Help finding work-out clothes

I am 6 weeks post-op and went to Curves to work out on the machines.  I quickly realized I needed some tight fitting spandex type clothing. My floppy capri pants kept getting caught on the machines. So I figured a quick google would help me find them. NO SUCH LUCK. I tried Junonia, Just My Size, Always for Me, and all the plus size shops. Geeze! Where do you gals go for your workout gear? Does anyone know where i can get some at the knee shorts/capris that are form fitting to work out in? I am a size4X.  Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sharon

I think they carry Champion in the athletic stores--Dick/s, Sports Authority, etc.
Just not sure if they carry plus sizes.

Try woman within.com, I've seen some in there and ordered bike shorts and have even ordered one of those strappy workout tank tops...just wore it around the house when I did videos. The bra is made inside and it held everything together.  Hoping to do that again when I lose some weight.  I had lost 115 pounds on WW and gained it back in two years after getting married.  :(  Not good.  I hope that helps, I gotta get on the exercise band wagon, I'm 10 days out and feel like i'm behind already.    i did walk some but have missed the last 3 days and don't count going to the grocery store as exercise though I was wore out from it.  LOL   Have a great night! Sherry

I have purchased workout clothes from Academy before like the Under armour brand in the mens sections since they tend to carry bigger sizes then the womens department

Old Navy has plus size compression work out wear.  I don't know how they fit, i have not order them yet.  I want to start running and i need some too..

Thanks for all your help. I finally found what i was looking for at MIB (making It Big) Every place else i looked had the capris, but all ran 2 sizes smaller based on reviewers. I need an actual 3X and none had the 5X. The bonus was, this weekend they are having a $20.00 off coupon. MIB rarely has sales. Thansk again! Sharon

 I just checked out the MIB website wow their stuff is expensive. I got my workout clothes from the Avenue they carry the spandex type workout pants up to size 30/32. I didn't pay nearly as much as MIB charges and I love my workout pants. I love them even more now they are size 18/20 

Old Navy has some workout clothes that are compression style. I would try some biker shorts as well. I just bought something at Wal-Mart that is form fitting.

I was going to suggest wallmart as well!! I know they carry the danskins and just my size workout clothing here that go to a 5x. Back when I was still wearing the 5x wallmart here had a huge sale of old enventory and I bought all of the clothes I have been working out in for 1.00 to 3.00 dollars. Literally a dresser full of sizes 1x to 5x. I know now it was the best thing in the world to do, cause I am now in a 1-2x. At the time I was like what the heck are you thinking Sherrie, but I went with it and now I know I did right!

Good that you found clothing that will work for you, but for me cheap or used is the only way I will go since I am in and out of them so fast.
I am again in a place with my clothes that I have one pare of jeans and 4 workout pants to wear. I need a new belt cause i no longer can drill new holes in my belt like I have been doing. Lol.
