I am eating way too much and too soon...
I am able to hold more food and this is including healthy options as well. I had 1000 calories the other day and am having a hard time getting full...I am glad that I have lost 115 so far but really think it is time for part 2 of my surgery...
When did you notice that you were able to eat more food?

*I made a clarification on this post below* You can ignore this one if you like. Do not feel like you have to respond.

I am only 3.5 months out and feel like I am eating more than 6 weeks ago. I feel like I have to eat about 1000 calories a day, and I'm still starving.

I had the VSG in case I needed another option. I work and know people who have had the RNY and stopped and are still obese. I did not like knowing that if I was to have the RNY (did not know about the DS at the time)that I would not have a second option. Sounds silly but I like having a back up plan. At this point I am going to give my VSG an entire year before I look for a revision. I think what I am feeling is perfectly normal. I was just honestly wondering if people have had an increase in the ammount of food they eat and when.
I am NOT self sabatoging my self. I am hurt that was even mentioned. I don't think that this post determines that I need counseling. The other day I was just going through a lot of things. I have lost a lot in less than 6 months and I was just venting.

Thanks for responding but I wish you would have sent me a private message. I know you didn't want to come off harsh, but you did.

Let me clarify; I THINK I am eating too much food too soon. Please ignore the comment of, I think it was time for the 2nd part of my surgery... I mis-spoke. I really just wanted to know when others started to notice that they were eating more.

I am trying to get more protein in but still have found myself hungry again quicker and I do drink water and wait 30 minutes to see if I really am hungry.

Is 1000 calories too much too soon? What calories do you stay around? How far out are you?

i think you're doing awesome... People say they have hungry days. It could have just been one of those.

I don't know that it's supposed to be a numbers thing, anyway.
I don't think that 1000 calories a day is a sustainable way of life.

LaToya -
My stomach capacity increased very noticeably in the 4th month and as increased again recently in the 6th month but not as much as in the 4th month.
It now takes 3-4 ounces of dense protein (chicken, ground beef, pork, etc.) plus about 1/2 c. cooked veggies or 1 c. salad to fill me up. I used this increase in capacity to be able to fit more fruit and veggies into my diet since I was already able to get plenty of protein in. If I eat less dense protein such as cottage cheese or yogurt, I can eat about 1 c. now. On mixed foods, such as chili or any meat/veggie/starch combination I usually need about 3/4 to 1 c. depending on the density of the food.
I am eating in the 1000-1200 calorie range because I don't seem to be able to function properly on less than 1000 calories (not enough energy for work and/or exercise). I also have to keep my net carbs in the 40-60 range (at least) to have enough mental clarity to perform my job functions (ultra low carb makes my memory next to non-existent).
I also know that I am losing a lot more slowly than you have, but that's just how I am losing. I have tried the lower calories and lower carbs and I wasn't losing any better so for me the 1000-1200 calories and a few more carbs just work better.
Everyone is different, but the increase in capacity (and requirements) is normal as we progress on our journeys. I would suggest to make sure you are eating 3-4 ounces of good protein at each meal and some veggies if you have room after the protein. Sometimes just upping your protein 1/2-1 ounce at each meal really helps keep you fuller for much longer.
