Bloating...
and water weight gain are such a foreign concepts to me. Prior to my weight loss journey I never got on the scale so if I was bloated I didn't know it. Now since i weigh myself atleast 2x a month I've noticed either weight gain or a halt to weight loss during certain times of the month. This Sunday I was so excited to see that the scale moved from 292 to 285 then this morning I got on the scale and I was back up to 291. I honestly don't even know why I even got on the scale today especially since I just weighed a few days ago and my cycle just started. Of course, I know it's impossible for me to have actually gain 6 pounds in 3 days but it's still quite disheartening to see the numbers go up instead of down
I never knew what bloated was till I lost weight - my pants never got tight when i was bloated cause i was just...fat. BUT NOW - OMG, when I'm bloated, that can totally make the difference between clothes fitting and squeezing into things. Such a weird feeling.
I hate the scale and sometimes find myself on it when I KNOW its going to be up. Why do we do this to ourselves?
