im 8 weeks 1 day post op and have thrush doctor called me in some nystatin mouth wash stuff i have to go pick up in a little while just wondered why i got it i have never ever had it before anyone else get it after surgery?
Yeast infections of any kind are pretty common after surgery due to the antibiotics they give us. I didnt have thrush but got really bad yeast infections. I started taking probiotics and havent had an issue since.
I have thrush right now too and im a little over a week post-op. Its sucks! I have a horrible taste in my mouth and it just makes me feel nasty. I feel your pain lol. Hopefully my DR. will call me in some today too.
