stupid scale! Stupid floor!
so I decide to weigh myself today - I don't do it often because I have rheumatoid edema and my weight can fluctuate insanely.
the scale is tucked away in a corner so when I pull it out I'm careful to align it in the same spot, having learned the difference floorboards can make after living in an aged house...
so I pull it out, step on it and it says I weigh 7.5 lbs less than last week. I'm pre-op, so I don't believe it.
I try again - trying to stand as equally balanced as I can...3 lbs heavier. Six times I weighed myself, six different answers. The last 3 were close to one another as I tried REALLY hard to stand the same way, so I went with the highest weight that wasn't over my last weight...347.
Still almost 20 lbs in almost 4 mos is nothing to complain about (even if some of it was probably edema)
my scale isn't the problem - its the floorboards in this apartment...its soooooooo frustrating!

Congrats on the loss of at least 20lbs!!
Why not take the scale outside to some flat ground where no one is around? Or do it at your docs office? I'd imagine that a different number each time is so incredibly frustrating!
Good Luck,
