Watcha Doin' for Easter?

No kids or grand kids (that's always scary to say)-----therefore, no chocolate eggs or bunnies, peeps or jelly beans!     Might be able to find a plain old hard boiled egg, though.

So are you doing anything fun for Easter?

Personally, I have to work ---I'm the every Sunday coverage in one of those 7 day operations. Don't mind but hopefully will be able to pick up the Master's coverage while I'm there. Should be a quiet workday, if I'm lucky. Not much else planned except (and please don't groan)---I have to watch the new Chopped competition starting that night. I love that show.

You and your family doing anything?

I'll go to church. Since I just had my gallbladder removed on Monday and plan to go back to work the day after Easter, I will mostly take it easy. I will go visit an elderly relative. She will probably have some desserts sitting on her dining table.  As her taste buds dull, her sweets are painfully sweets. She swears that it is my healthier lifestyle, but I know that the same thing happened with my grandmother.  So, I plan to just visit and avoid eating.

I'm not going to the relatives who will have the food fest. I'm not in the mood. I want to make sure that I am easing into food nicely after my surgery.

Wife and I are not dding much for Easter.

I will cook a breakfast for our two daughters and son-in-laws, but they will go the  boys families for dinner. We were invited to both, but decided to stay home and relax. Besides, how could we chose one over the other.

So it looks like I am in for a quite, do nothing Sunday.

Sound's pefect to me!

Aren't Sundays the best for vegging out?!
Nothing like an occasional lazy day!

My Sunday work project will end sometime this year (contract work)---not sure if I'll ever commit to every Sunday again!

What does Sunday and Master's coverage mean?

Hope it's nothing too stressful!

As for me I'll be doing a 70mile bike ride up a beautiful mountain in San Jose! Then I'll do a nice dinner with the wife and our Easter Bunnies! We recently rescued a couple of rabbits from the pound, to add to our full house of 2 cats and a doggie!

Happy Good Friday Everyone!

I have to work every Sunday for the newspaper here in Atlanta. I took an early retirement and contract back to several of their departments. Will be working during the final round of the Masters Golf tourney!

Not a big deal to most but I grew up in a very golf involved family--- kind of equal to the Superbowl!

I've decided not to see my family for Easter so I'll probably either do a bike ride or a long hike.

Nothing planned here - I'm an atheist, so no church (although I do kinda miss singing The Hallelujah Chorus). Might have some chocolate - I still have 5 bars of Vosges from my trip to Chicago (I'm not really a chocoholic, it doesnt call my name like chips do!) Weather is supposed to be nice so I'm probably going to go for a long drive and see if I can manage a short walk each nice day.

Ive been invited to a birthday/housewarming party tonight, but it's in a walk up and I may not be able to handle the stairs...my arthritis is flaring 'cuz I wasn't able to take my meds in the last month after having hand surgery...

Going to be here with my sweetie! At home chill'n and enjoying hopefully some sunshine. Might have the kids over if they want to come over. Them being adults it will be their choice. Always welcome though. My Easter bunny is warm and loving!

Nothing exciting for me either. Church in the morning with my 4 little ones (2 teenagers & 3yr old twins) hubby usually does not go. Then cooking a modest dinner turkey wings, duck, collard greens, homemade stuff, mac & cheese
