Friday NSVs - what did you do this week?

I had a pretty good week food wise. I didn't stray too far from my plan.

- I cut back drastically on my coffee intake which has been hard.

- I've kept my carbs relatively low and havent' eaten any simple carbs (ok I snuck a little tiny piece of bread when I went out with some co-workers, but I ordered green beans for lunch, so it's ok).

- I went out to lunch twice for work functions, and ordered a very small snack and ate my lunch I brought when I got back to the office and I didn't mind at all. I didn't feel disappointed watching everyone else eat - that's new for me.

- I signed up and went to tennis!

I didn't get as much exercise as I wanted because I've been super tired (coffee withdrawal +low carb+stress is a very bad combination) but there's always next week.

 I fit into a skirt I haven't worn in three years and had to safety pin the waiste cause it is just that much too big ! I showed my co workers and they all cheered me on.

My favorite sandals are too big , but I think I will start looking for a new pair now. 

I got in my car after my 16 yr old drove it and she adjusts the seat up ( pumped up) before that was a real issue and today it was great, I slid right in and I only had to pump it down a little bit for comfort. 

My mom gave me a bunch of clothes in size 2x and I am fitting in most of them a big victory for me.

Yea!

Yay what an exciting week!! I get way to excited about the seat thing because I used to always have to have it back as far as it would go - it's nice to be able to to get in/out after other people :)

I absent mindedly wrapped the ENTIRE towel around my hips to hang my drains from, then realized, "WHAT? WHAT?" looked down, looked in the mirror, down - "IT FITS?!?"

I had not even tried, just used to hook the corner to keep up over my hips... Oh happy day!

I had to think about this one for awhile. Kind of a #$%# week. Usually work from home but had to hit the office this week---impacts my workouts.  Plus this pollen is killing me! Living in a yellow haze here in the south!  Enough whining.

-  Stayed on plan this week.

-  Made my zip lining reservation for May 1.

-  Started the C25K but with walking and faster walking---knees can't take the jogging/running

That's it.    Nothing really out of the ordinary.

 Ummm...missy - every day we stay on plan is a celebration :)  

I have to say - I wish I had to guts to sign up for zip lining!!! That takes some courage!!

You're right---I'm just a little whiney and down in the dumps this evening. No reason---just a boring Friday night, I think. 

I'm looking forward to the zip line. According to Maxwell the GEICO pig----Weeeeeeeeee!   Pure Adrenalin!

 I have had a REALLY stressful past  week.....BUT...

** I stayed on track with my food, with the exception of a slip-up that involved pasta and a few ****tails after a memorial service. (I forgave myself and moved on)

** I wore high heels..well high for ME (2.5 inches), for the first time in 10 years and didn't fall

** I was able to dance around my backyard with my soon-to-be 7yr old stepdaughter for over an hour!! (Not in the heels though..lol)

Heels, dancing, tennis, zip lining, skirts,donating old clothes that no longer fit, staying on plan!  Those all sound wonderful.  I can't wait to have those NSV because they representing what living is!
