I'm up early for work and decided to get the ball rolling.

I was on vacation last week (back home to Ohio) and I did over indulge a bit. I did try and keep everything at a minimum, but I did not deprive myself of my hometown favorites, or my mothers biscuits and gravy! yum, even if it was half a biscuit.
Weather is beautiful here in MN, but I came home from Ohio sick! So not too many outdoor activities for me as of yet, not till this horrible cold and sore throat go away!

Well, I've made it to the halfway marker, after celebrating 100 lbs lost last week! Only (only?!?!) 103 lbs to go!
Workouts have been sparse, we've had so much going on. Now we're looking at some budget concerns, and may have to ditch the YMCA membership for a while. At least the weather is nice and we should get on the bicycles this week at some point.
Was hoping for more of a loss, but seeing as I'm still waiting on my monthly visitor (nope, not pregnant, already checked LoL) I am still bloated...I hope she comes soon.

I guess I *should* be happy that the enormous cruise gain is mostly gone, but I'm not. I'm not happy with myself at all. I'm super frustrated that I can't work out, and now that my weight loss is officially in "crawling" stage, I'm really feeling it. I just realized this morning that I'm 9 months out of surgery, but in the last 4 months or so, I've lost maybe 25-30 lbs or around there. This is depressing.
I'm on the low carb band wagon for a minute - it went very well last week, during the day. And then I made some really horrible decisions at night (ie alcohol, 3 times and stupid California rolls!!) I stayed under 1500 calories/day. This week is going to be better so I'll see how I do with my calories around 1000 cal and low carb.
All I know is that it's time to do something different because I'm not okay with the results of the last couple months.

Skipping weigh ins until I am moved. Got enough stress without waiting for the scale to move. LOL
But still here to cheer everyone else on. Two pair of my jeans that were tight are fitting better and better each week when I put them on so there's that!

My first time on this board. Over a year and I dont remember seeing this one, or if I did I forgot about it. My family called my BMI when we found out what it was, the BMI of the Beast 66.6. They are convinced the the reason my insurance didnt make me do ANY pre-op waiting period or diet is because they were scared to make me wait any longer when they saw the BMI of the Beast! (Insert scarry music here) I waited 9 years for our insurace to not call WLS "Cosmetic surgery". For the first time in 30+ years I am not Obese or Morbidly Obese. Saved my life!

So the 2 lb gain from last week is now a loss. I figure the rest of this month I am going to end up chasing the same few pounds around. That seems to be how my loss goes. I am still trying to figure out the "happy zone" calorie wise for my body. I know what the calcuator say -if you include my exercise but I think at this point 1400 calories is just toooo much. I have been seriously craving carbs this week, so I made some hummus and got some pretzel chips. While not optimal, much better choices than before. And it keeps me out of the cookies. Hope everyone has an amazing week as we welcome in SPRING!!!!

Only got to the gym twice this week, and that was for weights only. I am away from my desk doing plant support which means being on my feet to 6 to 8 hours a day.
Maybe I need a more physical job...

still on vacation and loving every minute of it. I have been out to eat almost every day and doing very well. If I am going to a restaurant I have not been to. I check the website to look at the menue so i can plan ahead.
