5.8 pounds in one week at more than 9 months out?!
Wow. I'm not sure what happened this week. I was just trying to step up my weight loss by 1-2 pounds. In general I wanted to see if I could still have a consistent 2-3 pound loss each week. I wanted to make sure that I wasn't getting distracted or complacent with my food choices. I was shooting for 3...maybe 3.5 pounds of weight loss this week. I'm not sure that my change was all that drastic. Maybe, since I don't track, I was doing something to slow things down. I will try to keep it up and see what happens next week. If I have another significant drop (over 2 pounds), then clearly I was slowing down earlier due to food choices. It seemed to take forever to get out of 240s now 220s have almost flown by.
Surgical weight: 368.1
Last week: 229.2
Today: 223.4
This week's weight loss is 5.8.
I still need to go to the store to get a pair of jeans. I should be a Misses size 16 now. I'm not sure. I have no idea where to go to buy jeans. I'm ok with wearing most of my clothes big, but I strongly feel that I need at least 1 pair of dress pants and 1 pair of jeans that fit so that I have options for not looking sloppy for work, church, etc.

My scale measures water too. According to that, there has been no decline in water.
The number has been consistent for a couple of days. I went out last night and had a margarita and cheese dip. I still weighed the same this morning. We'll see. I'm not going to hold my breath for that freakish drop next week.
I have been going to Walmart or Kohl's. Walmart has a wide variety of sizes and they are cheaper than most. I have also gone to good will and gotten some really good deals. You may be suprised at the sizes, I just about skipped 16's and just about stroked when I ended up in a 14. LOL Congrats on the loss!!!
Would you consider tracking your food? It helps me out tremendously...also go to Goodwill and buy you some nice jeans and dress pants. I LOVE the Goodwill or a good consignment shop. I know a lady that got a new wardrobe from Goodwill for under $70!

I thought about it Latoya. It has helped in the past. But I'm one of those people who find it completely infuriatingly annoying. It just irritates me. But if I stop losing before my goal, I will definitely start tracking.
I'm a planner. For now, I think through what I plan to eat and stick to it.
I still hate shopping so I'm procrastinating on the purchase of the jeans or pants. It's another thing that irritates me even though I'm so much smaller.

WTG Mimi.
I have given up trying to figure out the reasons behind both good weeks and bad week, I just get pissed off or happy depending on my week, and try to not to swing to far in either response.
Regarding the cloths, I do a lot of shopping at the Salvation Army thrift store. I just bought a pair of nice slacks and an American Eagle light weight fleece jacket for a total of $12 for both. My daughters boyfriend shops at American Eagle, and said the jacket alone was about $40 new. It was in perfect shape..
When I shrink out of them, I re-donate and get the tax deduction.
My wife refers to them as my "Rental Outfits".
