Approved and scheduled
So I can remember reading about people being approved and waiting till a couple of days later to make their posts and I remember thinking? Wtf? When I get my approval im shouting it from the rooftops as soon as it happens! Well I found out right as I as headed into work yesterday. I work with children with special needs and because the change in the weather and the full moon last night it was a little crazy at our respite centers to say the least. But here I am now spreading my life changing news. I called BCBS yesterday and they informed me that I had been approved maybe an hour before for my sleeve and that my surgery date that my surgeon submitted was April 2nd!!!!!!!!!!! I was so happy that I cried for a good 15 minutes before I could even call and tell anyone. Ive literally been trying for weight loss surgery for 3 years. And now im three weeks away. Im so happy, excited, and blessed. My weight has been a struggle my whole life and has held me back from doing a lot things I want to do. Not anymore! I know there are many struggles ahead of me and that WLS isnt all kittens and sunshine but it gives me hope that I havent had in a long time. :)
