Coincidence??
Ok, is this a coincidence?? My weightloss has slowed to a crawl. 3 months out and I will not lose for 10 days, lose for 1, not for 2, lose for a couple of days, not for 5, lose for 1, not for 3, lose for 1, not for 2, etc. I lost 30 pounds month 1, 16 pounds month 2 and now 10 pounds month 3. Anyway, today I ate HORRIBLY (don't judge!!). Seriously, I ate 4 chicken nuggets, then 4 chicken nuggets thennnn I got really sick from taking vitamins on an empty stomach and I ran around the office begging for food, ANYTHING and I ended up getting a handful of doritos and a giant cracker with cheese in the middle (no other options). Well, in between my morning weigh in (6 am) and now (5:30 pm) I've lost 1.2 pounds. Wtf? All those carbs? Almost 600 calories already... I don't usually eat like this... and 'm not just saying that...
Truth be told, it's very rare for me to eat. I usually eat 2 times a day max. Is it just a coincidence that I lost weight or is it maybe because I ate frequently or a decent amount of calories or that I actually ate carbs??
Has this happened to anyone else.

I'm going to give you my personal opinion.....I think you are making a mistake by only eating 2x per day. I assume that includes any protein shake? I'm not talking about "starvation mode" and the like---too much controversy about that. Are you getting 60+g of protein? and all your fluids? It's the most important---protein feeds and fuels the body and forces fat to burn for energy. Without it, your body while start using itself as fuel damaging your organs. So make sure you get your protein and then the fluids, of course, helps eliminate the spent fuel. I truly believe you will lose with 60+ (my program is 80) protein and fluids (I have to do an oz of fluid for a gram of protein). If you don't want to eat, that's your business---but at least do 2 or 3 protein shakes.
(And I am a low carb nut but we won't go there).
About today---ok so you ate horribly. I'm not a fan of saying, "That's OK". But I do believe in saying, "No More...why the $%%&%$ did I do that?" I don't think it impacted the scale today one way or another. Your weight will fluctuate up and down all day---water, waste, clothing, etc.
Just my humble opinions. Not meant to be harsh and I hope you don't take it that way. Maybe others can give you additional insight. Good luck.

Sorry, I drink 2 protein shakes a day (30g of protein each) in addition to both meals. Not getting all of my fluids. 3/4 of them usually. I am low carb too... 99.9% of the time.
I'm not looking for someone to condone my eating today at all. I'm really just wondering if the fact that I actually ate today, and with much higher calories and carbs, could have made me drop quickly. Everyone says that they have to find their niche when it comes to the weight loss and since the 600-800,

Hmmm...
Well so with the shakes and the meals... It looking like about 4 small meals. Ok.
Sounds like it is a question of weightloss 1.5 lbs in the day from morning to night. Not sure that you eating in the same day you see a difference is actually a way to tell. Our weight can vary through out the day.
Guessing... Make notes... See how your body reacts to your eating. The things you eat and your activity levels and so forth. Some people do require different amounts of things for their bodies. But I would think best way is to observe and keep record.
Of course I am not a nutritionist... Not a doctor... Just my thought and experiences is what my post is based on.
Hugs,
Sherrie
